March 2025 Release Notes 🚀
Platform Updates
API Changes
🏢 Connection Points → Sites
We've renamed "connection points" to "sites" across our platform for a more intuitive experience. Don't worry - the APIs are fully backwards compatible and will remain so for another 3 months, giving you plenty of time to update your integrations.
New Features
🎯 Market Eligibility Checks
Great news! You can now programmatically check which flexibility markets your sites are eligible for, including local congestion markets. The eligibility check evaluates:
- The types of resources at your site
- Your geographical location (particularly important for congestion markets)
- Technical capabilities of your metering setup
Depending on the market, end-consumers may need to provide explicit consent to participate.
📡 MQTT Activation Support
You can now choose to receive activation signals through MQTT instead of webhooks! This provides a more real-time connection for critical flexibility operations.
✨ Other Improvements
- Real-time visibility: The portal now shows real-time data and a "last seen" widget.
- Multiple grid identifiers: Supply multiple grid identifiers for sites, particularly useful for commercial & industrial installations.
- Resource-level webhooks: Configure webhooks at the resource level instead of on every bid (any webhook set on a bid will still take priority).
